These Terms of Service apply when you use the AOCTANT website, ask for a free map preview or buy from us. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms.

Use of our website By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, or that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

You agree not to misuse the site, for example by sending automated requests, getting around request limits, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Free map previews

  • A preview is free, and asking for one doesn't commit you to buy anything.
  • Each preview is made for the place, look and size you choose. For a different area, look or size, simply ask for a new free preview.
  • Previews are for your personal use, to help you decide whether to order. The preview images and the designs in them belong to AOCTANT and may not be sold, printed, shared for commercial use or reused.
  • To keep previews free for everyone, we limit how many can be requested and may decline requests that look automated, bulk or commercial.
  • If a place can't be found or needs more time, we'll let you know by email.

Products Every mat is made to order. We do our best to show products accurately, but colors can look different from screen to print, and mats can measure up to 1–2% smaller than the listed size because of how they are printed.

Our maps are decorative artwork made from open map data (see our Map credits). Places may be simplified, and some details may be missing or out of date. Don't use them for navigation.

Orders and payments By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and that your information is accurate and complete.

Your mat is printed from the preview you approved, so please check the place, look and size before ordering.

We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, in cases such as suspected fraud, a pricing error, or if we're unable to make or deliver it.

Pricing Prices may change without notice. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Taxes and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay.

Returns and refunds Cancellations, replacements and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Intellectual property All content on this website, including the AOCTANT name, logo, map designs, looks, images and text, belongs to AOCTANT and may not be used or reproduced without permission. Buying a mat gives you the mat for your own use, not the right to copy or sell its design. Underlying map data remains under its own open licenses.

Limitation of liability To the extent permitted by law, AOCTANT isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Indemnification You agree to hold AOCTANT harmless from claims arising from your misuse of our website or your violation of these terms.

Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections your local consumer laws give you.

Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the date they are posted; the terms in place when you place an order apply to that order.
